Julie LoRusso is a masterful potter who creates beautiful and exquisite pottery in her garden home studio in Virginia. Inspired by the tulipières she saw in Amsterdam and London, Julie creates one-of-a-kind porcelain vases with a focus on tulipieres that highlight every stem and are sculptural when not holding flowers. In addition to tulipieres, she also creates a series of faux bois pieces, intaglio vases, flower candlesticks, and crowns.

Having lived in London, the highlight of her week there was Friday mornings when she would pick through the shops and stalls of ceramics and treasures on Portobello Road. Her work is clearly influenced by the time and exposure to the beautiful antiques she shopped and admired while in London.
